The CWTS (Center for Science and Technology Studies) Leiden Ranking within Leiden University in the Netherlands ranks major universities in the world based on bibliographic data from the Web of Science database produced by the Clarivate Analytics group, to which we have sent data for over a decade.
The 2022 Ranking includes 1318 universities worldwide. The CWTS Leiden Ranking rates universities on a set of detailed bibliometric indicators that provide statistics on scientific impact, collaboration, open access to publications and gender.
According to the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2022 results, Hacettepe University has risen to the 433rd place in the world and the 1st place among the universities in Turkey. As in the previous year, 32 universities from Turkey were included in the ranking this year as well.
